Job Summary

Description

We are seeking a Community Prosperity Administrator to lead manage and coordinate internal departments across the county to support anti-displacement efforts as part of the overall METRO Blue Line Extension Project. This will include working with key elected officials stakeholders and communities to ensure that disparity elimination efforts are core and center pre during and post construction of the Blue Line light rail. This position will also provide strategic direction foster collaboration and maintain relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.

Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at 300 South 6th Steet Minneapolis MN 55487 and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday with typical hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In this position you will:


Need to have:
  • One of the following:
    • Ten years or more of program administration experience in government or an organization closely related to government.
    • Bachelors degree or higher in business administration or other field appropriate to the position and six years or more of program administration experience in government or an organization closely related to government.

Nice to have:
  • Experience:
    • In project management or public administration with a focus on anti-displacement.
    • Coordinating with internal departments and external partners to align with the countys anti-displacement efforts and leverage resources.
    • Facilitating inclusive engagement processes to ensure community voices shape project outcomes.
  • Knowledge of and ability to successfully apply diversity equity and inclusion best practices in efforts to reduce racial disparities.
  • Knowledge of anti-displacement strategies racial equity frameworks community power-building and systems change.
  • Ability to:
    • Provide excellent oral and written communication interpersonal skills and organizational abilities.
    • Navigate political and institutional environments with diplomacy and integrity.
    • Develop project plans including performance metrics reports and make recommendations aligned with community needs and county goals.
