QUALITY AND RISK COORDINATOR
PERMANENT PART TIME24 HOURS PER WEEK
Alexandra District Health (ADH) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Quality & Risk Coordinator to join our Quality and Risk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about quality improvement clinical governance risk management data analysis and quality improvement and innovation.
Working closely with the Director of Quality and Risk you will support organisation-wide systems that enhance patient safety strengthen clinical governance and promote continuous improvement across ADH.
About the Role
The Quality & Risk Coordinator will:
- Support and maintain ADHs quality and risk systems including VHIMS/RiskMan.
- Coordinate operational committees including preparing agendas minute taking and distribution of documentation.
- Maintain the Document Management System (Prompt) and assist with publishing policies procedures and governance documents.
- Assist the Director of Quality & Risk in maintaining the Legislative Compliance register
- Coordinate ADH register of compliments complaints and feedback from consumers
- Collate and present data including run charts graphs and trend summaries from or local performance risk and quality indicators using a variety of platforms and programs.
- Support ongoing preparation for accreditation including the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Promote a culture of quality improvement innovation and consumer service excellence across all teams.
- Identify opportunities for system improvement and work with staff to strengthen capability in quality activities.
The successful candidate will have access to supernumery time and handover from the current staff member working in this role and the Director of Quality & Risk.
About You
You will bring:
- Strong interest or experience in quality improvement and risk management.
- Proficiency or ability to learn enhancing computer skills including using Microsoft 365 and its functions Excel Word SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Ability to manage datasets and produce meaningful reports graphs or dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
- A collaborative proactive and passion for improvement-focused approach to supporting patient safety and clinical governance.
- Experience within the Victorian Public Health Sector (desirable but not essential).
