We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer to strengthen our supplier quality and development processes. This role involves working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing new suppliers audits
- Coordination of New product launches projects
- Apply quality tools such as PPAP APQP MSA SPC Control Plans PFMEA and Process Flows.
- Prevent non-conformities and take corrective actions when needed.
- Travel to suppliers and other VELUX facilities (50 - 75% of your time).
Requirements
Education:
- Technical Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in Supplier Development.
- Auditing experience (internal/external) is desirable.
- Experience with complex projects and volume manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of QMS standards (ISO9001 minimum).
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring techniques in manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills.
Additional:
- Excellent communication skills in English (Polish is a plus).
- Purchasing and commercial experience is a plus.
- Valid passport and driving license.
