As a Technical Project Manager within Cards Software Engineering team you will play a key role in driving the success of both ongoing and upcoming projects. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners combined with your technical insights will ensure that we continue delivering high-quality efficient and innovative solutions.
In this role you will work closely with Software Engineers IT product conception business and operational teams to define build and deliver technical solutions aligned with the companys strategic goals. You will be the primary point of contact for external partners managing integrations overseeing compliance with their requirements and ensuring internal alignment with the project vision and roadmap.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Project & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to clarify business needs define technical solutions and manage the full project lifecycle.
- Managing project delivery end-to-end identifying risks early and ensuring transparent communication with all stakeholders.
- Acting as the main contact point with external partners mastering their documentation tracking their technical announcements and ensuring the team remains fully compliant.
- Requirements & Technical Preparation
- Preparing project requirements specifications user stories tasks and mockups to support clear and efficient delivery.
- Translating business needs into actionable technical specifications and ensuring alignment between engineering and business teams.
- Execution & Delivery
- Providing hands-on project management and coordination across software development teams.
- Monitoring the production environment identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance stability and performance.
- Supporting the team with Level 3 troubleshooting while continuously seeking ways to optimize processes and reduce operational friction.
- Quality & Documentation
- Ensuring comprehensive up-to-date documentation is maintained for all projects integrations and solutions.
- Promoting best practices in delivery testing and knowledge sharing to support scalable and sustainable development.
Qualifications :
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role ideally within banking cards systems or financial technology environments.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and external partners.
- Analytical & Problem-solving Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities with a demonstrated capacity to assess risks resolve issues and improve processes.
- Experience preparing project requirements functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Project Management Expertise: Solid understanding of software project management in agile methodologies with experience in leading complex technical projects.
- Solid understanding of software project management within Agile methodologies.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing full project lifecycles in technical environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Practical knowledge of SQL QA processes
- Familiarity with Java code or the willingness to learn it to a level sufficient for reading and understanding code.
- Experience with API integration and troubleshooting as well supporting team with testing
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act as a bridge between business engineering and external partners.
- Languages:
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in French is a strong plus.
