Schedule: MondayFriday 8:50 AM 3:40 PM
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $45 $48 per hour
Job Description:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a SPED Autism Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a school setting. The role involves assisting teachers supporting student learning and behavior and helping create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
Support students with autism in academic and behavioral activities
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and management
Implement IEP goals and behavior plans
Support students with daily activities as needed
Help with transitions lunch and school routines
Document student progress and observations
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Requirements:
Experience working with children preferred
Experience with autism or special education support a plus
Strong communication and patience
Reliable and able to complete the full contract
