Job Summary
The Catering Lead plans organizes and executes the catering business for an Eataly location. Reports to the Catering Manager.
- Creates proposals contracts event orders and packages tailored to each guests requests
- Negotiates executive partnerships to sell catering packages for breakfast lunch dinner and largescale events
- Oversees catering events from start to finish: books plans and executes functions
- Executes all off-site catering for offices and VIP clients coordinating delivery services and pickup business
- Acts as a trainer for team members on catering operations
- Communicates product and staffing needs for catering events on a daily basis
- Manages catering call-backs from orders delivered same day to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
- Handles and resolves complaints/accolades and communicates results to managers
- Ensures catering collateral is displayed and stocked in the store at all times: catering menus catering table business cards etc.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience in catering/sales management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fluid environment
- Bachelors Degree preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability to work a flexible scheduling often including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squatting
