Job Summary
Roles and responsibilities
- Create precise structural Revit models and CAD drawings for technically challenging projects.
- Develop plans sections elevations and details from Revit 3D model.
- Take ownership of modeling drawings and documentation.
- Understand and implement industry wide BIM standards.
- Develop details and drawings from conceptual ideas and engineers sketches.
- Review model and drawings to ensure compliance with design.
- Highlight potential problems in time and look for a solution.
- Interact with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM models and drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of models and drawings prepared.
- Support the development of project documentation and drawing production.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Update and maintain project notes and documentation.
- Ensure QA/QC documents are maintained properly.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2 to 6 years proven experience in Revit modeling.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English language and good command of technical English terminology.
- Experience in preparing 3D models of Bridges in Revit.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks.
- Must be experienced in ProjectWise BIM 360/ACC.
- Basic understanding of construction and engineering principles.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Must be willing to support the team in which they work.
- Must be proactive and should maintain professionalism.
- Accuracy attention to detail and correctness of drawings.
- Committed to delivering excellent levels of service.
- Knowledge Microsoft suite (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability and flexibility to learn and develop technical/software skills.
- A flexible positive approach and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy creative atmosphere.
