Job Summary
As a Cocktail Server you will be responsible for serving the needs of the business our guests and our colleagues by taking food and beverage orders retrieving and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guests tables according to hotel specifications courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items prices preparation method/time ingredients and quality standards of taste appearance texture serving temperature portion size garnish and method of presentation
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations particularly those prohibiting service to minors intoxicated persons and drunk driving
- Understand and anticipate guests needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests however busy and at whatever time of day
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Handle guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
Qualifications :
- One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
- Good knowledge of spirits beer and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
- Must be of minimum 18 years of age.
- Superior professional appearance and manner good character to work in a fast-paced team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays according to department needs.
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications as applicable to the position.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests management and co-workers to their understanding
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to maneuver in a restaurant setting
