Job Summary

Job Title: .NET/SQL Server Developer
Location: Local candidates only

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts
Maintain and support complex applications including Budget System
Assist state employees solutions and mentor on best practices
SQL Server installation maintenance and optimization (minimum 6 years)
Knowledge of MSDTC and TDE encryption design/maintenance
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for importing/exporting data
Develop Windows services and web services
Design and test disaster recovery plans
Write and review code
Develop detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications
Strong oral and written communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in application development and database management

Preferred Skills:

Experience mentoring team members and promoting coding best practices
Hands-on experience with large-scale mission-critical applications
