Working closely with the executive leadership team this role is ideal for a payroll expert who takes pride in building reliable systems guiding teams and shaping how payroll supports the organization as a whole. Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic oversight of payroll and accounting operations ensuring accuracy compliance strong controls and a consistent employee experience without directly processing payroll
Drive payroll technology and process improvement initiatives including system enhancements automation integrations and vendor optimization
Own governance including policies documentation audits and risk management with a proactive approach to regulatory compliance
Serve as a trusted partner to the CFO CHRO and cross-functional leaders in Accounting HR Tax Legal and IT to align payroll operations with organizational priorities
