Forcepoint Procurement works closely with all organizations within the company to source buy and manage products services and vendors of all indirect categories andsome directcategories. The Sourcing teamis seeking a skilledindirect sourcingprofessional who will manageoneormultiple of the following categories: MarketingCloudTechnologyProfessional Services and other indirect individual is expected to create develop and execute category strategies for the assigned individual is expected to undertake process improvements to enable efficient operationsofthe assigned individual is expected to develop andmaintainstrong stakeholder and vendor relationships for the assigned categories.
Essential Functions
Develop strong understandings of stakeholders businessdynamicsobjectivespriorities and operational strong collaborative relationshipswith the attainment of businessobjectivesvia day-to-day buying operations and strategic sourcing actions.
Based on stakeholdersexternalend-marketcompetitive dynamics suppliers competitive dynamics and Forcepointsoperational profiles develop highly suitableandcustomized category strategies thatwill lead to advantaged Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Optimizeprocesses systemsmetricsand standards according to the aligned category strategies;operationalizethe strategies for standardsmarket intelligence contract templates and otherassets(RFP MSA SOW SLA etc.)so thatthe companycan make highly informed and rational buying other teammates and partner organizations ( Legal etc.) to contribute to the categories success.
Lead or contributetocomplex cross-functional projects.
Processpurchaseordersandhandle routine transactions with customers/suppliers and providehigh levelsof service and quality.
Monitorindustry intelligenceinnovationsand best practicesfor the assigned categories; bring impactful insights to internal stakeholders to drive actions.
Drive cost saving initiatives.
Prepare clearaccurateand concise reports specificationscorrespondenceand other written materials.
Assistaccountspayablesin vendor invoice discrepancy resolution.
Perform other duties& responsibilitiesas assigned.
Education Experience and Skills
Be a self-starter who can prioritize tasks and manage deadlinesnavigateand be successful in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
Possess a strong career development mindset; open to feedback and learning opportunities.
5 years of indirect purchasing and category management experience in MarketingCloud Computing Technology and/or Professional Services.
Demonstrated successesin leadingandcompletinghighly complexcross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated success in buildingintra-functional andcross-functional the ability to influence others decisions actions and priorities with the goal of maximizing the value brought to the to address controversial topics and to challenge assumptions opinions and decision to ensure that actions taken are in the organizations best interest
Demonstrated interests and ability to understand the businesses and operations of stakeholders organizations.
Demonstrated action-oriented and impact-oriented working style andsuccesses.
Demonstrated ability in contract negotiations.
Strong analyticalacumenand the ability to unpack complex issues.
Experience inparticipatingor leading Procurement ERP systemimplementationssuch as: Workday SAP Ariba Coupa Workday etc.
Strong respectful verbal and written communication skills
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
