Tasks
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts using Google Cloud Security tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and improve incident response protocols.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats.
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies procedures and incident reports.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the organizations security posture remains robust.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security tools and practices.
- Proficiency in using security information and event management (SIEM) systems for detecting and responding to threats.
- Strong understanding of network protocols security architecture encryption and authentication technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
