As an Accounting Supervisor you will play a vital role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting within our dynamic Hiring Manager department. Your contributions will help streamline processes and support our strategic objectives in the fast-paced world of fashion retail. We offer a competitive hourly salary range of $35 - $47 along with a collaborative work environment that fosters professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports
- Monitor daily financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting policies
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Help prepare budgets and forecasts
- Provide support during audits and assist in implementing recommendations
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Desire to learn and grow within the accounting field
