We are hiring a Staff Nurse for one of the best Nursing Homes in Co Waterford who is passionate about improving the quality of life of their residents and places a strong importance on social physical and mental stimulation.
This position is open only to applicants who hold EU/EEA citizenship or have an existing unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality safe and effective nursing care in accordance with NMBI standards and professional best practice.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualised person-centred care plans.
Administer medications safely and accurately in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Monitor residents clinical condition document findings and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
Lead support and supervise care staff during shifts to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
Promote residents independence dignity and overall quality of life.
Communicate effectively with residents families GPs and the multidisciplinary team to support coordinated care.
Maintain accurate timely and confidential clinical documentation.
Ensure ongoing compliance with HIQA regulations organisational policies and evidence-based practice
Requirements
Hold a Registered General Nurse qualification.
Must be an EU/EEA citizenship or have an existing unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
Maintain active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge with a clear commitment to person-centred care.
Possess excellent communication organisational and leadership skills.
Be fluent in spoken and written English.
Have satisfactory Garda clearance and appropriate professional references
