Job Description:
- Must be qualified to perform Release of Information (ROI) services as required by the VA PWS.
- Ability to process and release protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA VHA and VA standards.
- Experience handling requests for medical records from veterans legal entities and third-party requestors.
- Must ensure timely and accurate release of requested information following all VA procedures.
- Must meet all experience requirements outlined under Technical Capability.
- Must thoroughly understand ROI workflow documentation handling and privacy requirements.
- Must comply with federal regulations governing medical record confidentiality and release.
- Contractor must demonstrate staff competency and experience performing ROI functions in a healthcare environment
