- Review and audit implementation and configuration of RMF monitors and controls for Cloud-based and on-premise systems
- Prepare and maintain RMF Comprehensive Packages and system ATO artifacts
- Coordinate with system owners to prepare and execute system ATO tasks
- Coordinate with system administration team to maintain and update system security status in eMASS
- Develop strategy to achieve and maintain ATO for Cloud platforms based on full RMF packages
- Assist system administration team to maintain RMF continuous monitoring and associated documentation and reports
- Track and ensure compliance with IAVAs IAVMs USTRANSCOM and U.S. Army security notifications US-CERT notices Army and DISA alerts DISA bulletins and technical advisories
- Review and audit for STIG compliance and ensure appropriate STIGs are completed in coordination with the System Administration team
- Conduct vulnerability scans of software and systems
- Track and manage resolution of POA&Ms
- Review and take corrective action with IAVA SCAP and ACAS vulnerabilities
- Maintain and update Cyber Scorecards and other reports
- Coordinate with Information Assurance Engineers for incident response and reporting
- Audit and coordinate with system administrators to maintain software security posture including configurations version control license management inventory and patching status
- Maintain information security plan and procedures including auditing and validating information classifications and labeling personally identifiable information and access authorization and control
- Revise and maintain security-related procedures for conducting assessments scanning auditing etc.
- All other duties as assigned
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Experience using DoD security management tools including eMASS
- Experience with Cloud system/platform information assurance requirements tools and security plans (Cloud One AWS and/or Azure)
- Understanding of and experience interpreting and applying NIST RMF guidelines
- Experience with NIST RMF monitoring and controls
- Experience with preparing system ATO artifacts
- Experience developing and reviewing system security plans
- Working understanding of STIGs
- Experience with developing and resolving POA&Ms
- Data and mathematical analysis skills
- Vulnerability and risk analysis experience
- Remedy ticketing system
