Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Location: Maryville TN
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
Pay Rate:$28 per hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Medical Assistantfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Maryville TN.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist providers with patient care in general and internal medicine clinics
Manage patient intake medical history and vital signs
Document patient information accurately in EPIC EMR
Support clinical procedures and testing as directed
Schedule patient appointments follow-ups and procedures
Perform administrative tasks such as filing chart management and record maintenance
Ensure compliance with facility policies infection control practices and safety guidelines
Provide patient education and instructions as directed
Assist with patient flow and maintain a professional welcoming environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year recent experience with EPIC EMR
Minimum 1 year experience in an adult outpatient facility
Minimum 1 year experience in a private physicians office
Experience in general medicine and internal medicine
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
COVID-19 vaccine not required
