Position Role: SO1 ABC Plans UKStratCom HQ |
Responsibilities: - Provide evidence-based and resource-informed advice to senior mgmt to enable informed decision-making on investments in the EP TLBP and Infra Plan.
- UKStratCom desk lead for the Annual Budget Cycle (ABC) process including the Capability (Cap) Audit and strategic DLOD engagement.
- Maintain a broad overview of the financial baseline of the core programmes; ensure Cap areas prioritise iaw with evidence-based decision making.
- COS for Portfolio Plans Team. Analyse and disseminate strategic direction affecting the capabilities for which UKStratCom is responsible.
- Lead (LM) the Portfolio Plans Support Team (2 x civil servants) in managing coord of ABC Options process. Promote an inclusive culture.
- UKStratCom Portfolio focal point for other Front Line Command (FLC) portfolios with particular attention to coherence with other FLC capabilities.
- Act as the PfO focal point for other FLC portfolios with particular attention to coherence with other FLC options.
- Contribute to the Develop/Deliver functions within UKStratCom and support development & application of Portfolio Management and principles of P3M.
- Manage various contracted analyst services to support Portfolio Plans and wider HQ outputs.
