Posting Description
PROJECT MANAGER Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC) works with the Executive Director and senior staff to support the collaborative activities of the MGHPCC including governance data center infrastructure shared research computing infrastructure and business operations. The Project Manager must be capable of serving in a variety of roles including managing external communication that represents the organization to stakeholders such as the board of directors and user community; coordinating and directing projects often involving contributors from multiple institutions; supporting response efforts during emergency situations such as utility power interruption; managing business records to ensure compliance with record retention requirements; and responsibility for managing administrative tasks for an organization that reports to six large academic institutions such as organizing board meetings and preparing reports.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree; a minimum of four years of related work experience; and must understand and comply with all MGHPCC security policies.
The Project Manager is a Privileged Worker as described in the MGHPCC Personnel Security Policy. The person in this role must pass a background check.
