Ideagen is seekinga Software Test Engineer who will be an integral part of our Agile development team. You will play a key role in the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our SaaS products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles with as few defects as possible.
Responsibilities
Design and execute test cases and scripts to validate product quality and user requirements.
Identify track and report defects from both a testing and customer perspective.
Collaborate with developers product managers and project teams to ensure thorough testing.
Participate in project planning estimation and Agile ceremonies (stand-ups demos retrospectives).
Develop and maintain test scripts test data and automation frameworks.
Execute and sustain test automation using tools such as Playwright Selenium Appium or similar.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- 2 years of professional software testing experience.
Proven track record in delivering and maintaining web-based software.
Hands-on experience with automation scripting (Playwright C# Selenium Appium etc.)
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable:
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Azure or Cloud certifications (e.g. AZ-900).
Cybersecurity qualifications (e.g. CEH).
Testing certifications (e.g. ISTQB).
