Youre a natural multi-tasker
Were looking for a motivated hotel management intern whos ready to contribute when needed and who can keep pace in a dynamic work environment! This aspiring professional will have the opportunity to familiarize himself/herself with a multitude of hotel management tasks: coordinating human resources activities planning projects participating in various types of meetings analyzing data purchasing and receiving materials addition to developing personal skills on a daily basis.
We have summer internship opportunities in our hotel Germain Mercer Toronto for a period varying between 3 and 6 months starting this March 2026.
WHAT YOULL DOâ
- Assist the management team in the management of hotel projects.
- Participate in daily operations by producing reports planning operations communications preparing presentations printing documents managing expense accounts etc.
- Participate in weekly meetings draft minutes and ensure various follow-ups.
- Respond cordially promptly and efficiently to various assigned calls and e-mails.
- Know and apply the hotels policies procedures and service safety and hygiene standards.
WHAT YOULL BRING
- Current hospitality student or similar program an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and natural customer service orientation
- Ability to adapt to different leadership styles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Quick and efficient handling of requests and problems
- Desire to be familiar with all hotel events activities and services
- Knowledge of the Office suite and general computer skills
