About the role

The Senior Advisor Workforce Transition delivers strategic advisory project coordination and support service including data analysis and reporting to support business areas in the timely and effective implementation of workforce structures and organisational change.

Advising stakeholders on implementing workforce structures in line with relevant legislative industrial and policy requirements.
Analysing workforce data and producing reports using tools such as Excel to support evidence-based workforce strategies.
Providing project management and coordination support.

About you

Your responsibilities

Provide advice to stakeholders on processes and activities relating to the implementation of workforce structures consistent with the implementation plans developed for each realignment and having regard to relevant legal industrial and policy frameworks.
Undertake data analysis and reporting relating to the departments workforce (employees and contractors) utilising appropriate software tools (e.g. pivot tables in excel) to support the development of evidence-based workforce management strategies.
Provide an advisory service and operational support to business areas in the development of role descriptions to support the attraction retention and development of staff.
Provide project coordination and support including developing and monitoring project plans coordinating working group meetings reporting on progress and identifying and escalating risks and issues to ensure that workforce structures are implemented by the target go-live date.
Foster and build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gain support for the implementation of workforce transition activities.

Essential requirements of the role

Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Human Resource Management Organisational Psychology or a relevant discipline
Expertise across a range of HR functions with a focus specific to this role on organisational transformation and workforce transition.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
