Department: Communications

Salary Range:$70000 to $80000

Organizational Relationships:Reports to Director of Digital Engagement and is part of the Communications and Community Engagement Team in the Governors Office. This position does have supervisory responsibility for the Content Strategist.
Summary of Functions:Supporting the Director of Digital Engagement and Director of Communications with video and audio. The Digital Content Manager will take a leading role in managing video and audio production for recordings and content for both internal and external communication for the Governors Office. The Digital Content Manager employs innovative ways to use photo video and digital to connect with and inform Coloradans using a variety of platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for aiding the Director of Digital Engagement with video tapings including requests scripts and scheduling.
Support the Director of Digital Engagement with Facebook Live filming as needed.
Support the Director of Digital Engagement with dynamic and powerful social media videos for multiple platforms using Canva Adobe Premiere or other online video/editing software. The role produces in house videos
Support the gathering and creating of digital content with the Director of Digital Engagement as well as scheduling and posting on social media properties as outlined in the social media plan.
Monitor the First Gentlemans social media and provide sentiment with the Director of Digital Engagement analytics and narrative updates to the team.
Work with the Director of Digital Engagement to create short-term and long-term digital communication strategies.
Minimum Qualifications Substitutions Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Office Mac/PC software and web/new media technology.
Knowledge of photography and video production
Experience managing social media platforms
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities and able to react and adjust quickly to changing conditions.
Able to work a flexible schedule nights and weekends.
Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Support communications team with other duties as assigned.
