Location: Hamilton VA
Duration: 27 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $27/hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver high-quality one-on-one behavioral support to children and adolescents. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) the RBT will implement individualized treatment plans support behavior intervention strategies and promote meaningful skill development across educational and therapeutic settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized treatment plans.

  • Implement reinforcement systems skill-building programs and behavior intervention strategies.

  • Support development of communication social academic adaptive and daily living skills.

  • Collect accurate real-time data on behaviors and skill acquisition.

  • Assist with behavior reduction strategies while maintaining a safe positive environment.

  • Collaborate with BCBAs teachers therapists and caregivers to ensure consistent support across settings.

  • Communicate observations progress and challenges to supervising clinicians.

  • Participate in team meetings training sessions and ongoing professional development.

  • Adhere to ethical guidelines safety standards and confidentiality protocols.

  • Perform other related duties as needed to support program operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental disabilities.

  • Understanding of ABA principles data collection methods and behavior management strategies.

  • Strong communication patience and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to follow structured treatment plans and adapt to changing client needs.

  • Physical ability to assist clients during sessions when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in school-based clinical or in-home ABA programs.

  • Familiarity with electronic data-tracking systems or EHR platforms.

  • Educational background in psychology education special education or related fields.
