This tenure-track faculty position will involve teaching courses in Introductory Microbiology and upper-level electives in the candidates area of expertise. Demonstrated ability to teach the following course formats at the undergraduate and/or graduate level: lecture discussion and laboratory. Evidence may include prior teaching experience teaching evaluations etc.
Evidence of an active or emerging research program demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications presentations grant activity documented research agenda or similar with the potential to involve undergraduate and/or graduate students
At least one semester of teaching experience at the college or university level (as instructor or comparable role)
Documented experience mentoring or advising undergraduate or graduate students on research projects academic progress professional development or similar
Evidence of ability to use a variety of teaching pedagogies
