About the area

Student Wellbeing and Engagement is part of the Student Life Directorate which plays a vital role in delivering a world-class student experience. The Wellbeing team leads the implementation of UWAs Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework focusing on early intervention low-barrier services and proactive wellbeing initiatives. We work closely with students staff and community partners to foster a safe supportive and inclusive environment.

About the opportunity

  • Provide specialist wellbeing support to students in the Business School and School of Humanities.
  • Respond to disclosures of sexual assault/harassment and mental health concerns including risk assessment and intervention.
  • Deliver training and wellbeing initiatives to build resilience and promote a positive student experience.

About you

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration (e.g. AASW PACFA ACA).
  • Experienced in responding to sexual assault/harassment disclosures and mental health crises.
  • Skilled in delivering wellbeing programs and training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaison and consultation.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate & Working with Children Check will be required by the successful applicant.
