The Department of Music is housed on the UWSP campus in the state-of-the-art Noel Fine Arts Center built in 2004. Twenty-eight faculty and staff comprise the department eighteen of which are full-time appointments. The department has a strong commitment to music education with a full array of performing ensembles (bands orchestras choirs opera jazz ensembles chamber music) and offers the Bachelor of Arts in Music Bachelor of Music in Music Education Performance and Jazz Studies and the Master of Music Education.
