Job Summary

Physical Therapist Statewide Travel Assignment

Location: Across NM State
Type: Contract / Travel

Position Overview

We are hiring a Physical Therapist to join our statewide travel pool providing therapy services at various locations throughout New Mexico. This role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of patient populations while working with dynamic clinical teams across outpatient inpatient long-term care home health and school environments.

Key Duties

Perform comprehensive PT evaluations

Build individualized goal-focused treatment plans

Deliver therapeutic interventions and manual techniques

Update treatment plans based on ongoing progress

Complete documentation per facility and regulatory expectations

Participate in collaborative care with nurses physicians and therapists

Coach patients and caregivers on exercises and recovery strategies

Travel to assigned facilities within New Mexico to meet patient needs

Required Background

New Mexico PT license (active or eligible prior to start)

DPT/MSPT from an accredited program

At least 1 year of recent PT experience across any recognized clinical setting

Current AHA BLS certification

Strong adaptability to varying environments and EMRs

Preferred Skills

Experience working across multiple therapy settings

Strong communication and organizational abilities

Previous travel or float experience

Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
