The Training Management Group is a joint RN-industry organisation providing the basis of a Whole Force approach to RN individual training delivery. The TMG is accountable for the effective and efficient governance control and commercial delivery of the Selborne contract.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary POC for arrangingME(GS and SM)Apprentice Assessments (AA)between the MIAA and Units.
Liaise with and support Training Coordinators andOnboardAssessors in the delivery ofallMEAAs;quality assureand approveallMEAA outcomes.
Grade and approve allMarineEngineeringAAs in line with assessment plans and internal quality assurance expectations.
Support the development ofMEAAs including question writing pilot assessments and procedure development.
Support Team Fisher ProgrammeFacilitatorsduring Apprenticeship Engagement visits to units.
Conduct physical IQA observations on 510% of allME AAsacross various locations to ensure assessment validity fairness and compliance.
Implement and uphold MIAA policies and support development and maintenance of MIAA/AA funding models.
Act as the MIAA sponsor of Unitsidentifyingopportunities to enhance MIAA processes tobenefitTraining Coordinators and apprentices.
Local Considerations
Domestic
Away from home at least once per month for Training Establishment visits/AA assurance.
