Position Responsibilities:
Level 2
Assists with audits and assessments of suppliers systems processes and products.
Documents audit and assessment results.
Inspects or verifies less complex products for compliance.
Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.
Level 3
Manages Supplier Nonconformance Responsibilities and issues Supplier Corrective Actions
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances
Performs problem-solving through analysis of metrics to improve supplier performance
Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
Plans and conduct audits and assessments of suppliers systems processes and products.
Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
Resolves routine issues and concerns.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. SecretClearance Post-Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 year of experience in Quality
1 year of experience working with supplier quality processes
1 year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis data collection preparation and interpretation
1 year of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Experience in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelors Degree or higher (Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry)
Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)
Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
Experience with regulatory requirements
Experience reviewing contracts managing suppliers and/or experience working with inventory
Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP)
Travel:
This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
