The role provides one-on-one assistance for Common Access Card (CAC) support and troubleshoots CAC and proxy card issues by reviewing diagnostics and assessing the functionality and efficiency of alarm monitoring systems and security panels.
The specialist performs comprehensive data entry and access management within the On-Guard/Level system including adding and removing access for personnel contractors guests students and visitors. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records for identification badging and parking authorizations issuing badges capturing identification photographs distributing parking placards and temporary passes and creating and printing required reports.
Additional duties include:
- Administering Level system configurations such as creating access levels group levels and time zones for automated electronic door locks
- Maintaining updated cardholder profiles in Pass & ID.
- The specialist manages and organizes records and files assists with forensic research or analytical requirements as needed and cultivates strong working relationships with internal departments and external partners including J&J NAVFAC FMD and BFPE.
- The role serves as a liaison to coordinate technical and administrative security functions for WRNMMC staff contractors and civilians.
