Job Duties:
- Learn and implement new information
- Implement behavior intervention plans and/or safety plans
- Coach and train adults on behavior interventions
- Collaborate with staff to ensure positive learning environments for students
- Provide individual support to students (this may include assistance with grooming healthcare mobility physical/verbal aggression token economies and reinforcement)
- Provide program support as needed
- Conduct preference assessments
- Ability to implement PBIS
- Ability to de-escalate students who are in crisis and/or approaching crisis
- Understanding of the Mandt Crisis Cycle
- Communicate in a clear and positive manner
- Builds positive relationships with students and staff
- Collect various forms of data
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Follows and promotes the Mandt philosophy
- Attends all meetings as assigned
