Job Summary
The City of OFallon is looking to hire a knowledgeable Art Instructor to conduct Knitting/Crochet classes of all levels and skills.
As an Art Instructor youll be responsible for teaching basic knitting and crocheting skills as well as inspiring students to help them understand the materials and techniques for creating art with yarn.
Skills and traits necessary to perform this position effectively include:
- Knowledge of knitting and crocheting and the ability to effectively explain techniques associated with the craft
- Enjoy working with people of all ages and skill levels
- Artistic talent
- Be enthusiastic and able to motivate and encourage others
- Good communication skills
- High level of creative and organizational skills
- Patience and tolerance
