Job Summary

Job Title: Medical Appointment Clerk

Location: MacDill AFB - 6th Medical Group 3250 Zemke Avenue Bldg. 1078 Tampa FL 33621

Start Date: March 2026

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday(9-hour shift with 1-hour unpaid meal break); 40 hours/week

No. of FTEs Required: 3 FTE

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum 6 months medical office scheduling experience; Experience in EHR scheduling or clinic appointment systems preferred
License/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association

Other Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities:

Schedule modify and manage patient appointments using approved systems
Provide front desk and telephone support for clinics
Verify patient information update records and process referral requirements
Deliver courteous professional customer service to patients and staff
