Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Millwright Team Lead to manage installation and fabrication projects. This hands-on role involves leading technicians on-site coordinating project execution and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Strong mechanical electrical welding and PLC troubleshooting skills along with proven leadership experience are essential.
Job Description:
- Lead and manage a technicians on site driving productivity and quality
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance installations and repairs
- Diagnose and resolve issues through PLC fault finding and troubleshooting
- Welding and fabrication projects ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Mentor and train team members promoting continuous improvement and skills development
- Collaborate across departments to optimize processes and reduce operational costs
- Minimum 5 years experience as a qualified millwright in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- At least 2 years experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent leadership problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards
Qualification:
- Millwright Trade Test (essential)
- Additional technical training or certifications advantageous
- Valid passport and drivers license
