We are seeking a Senior Manager of Housing Services to join our clients team. This individual will lead intake and homelessness prevention programs designed to support vulnerable families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. They will oversee housing placements financial assistance efforts and team operations while developing innovative strategies to ensure housing stability. The Senior Manager of Housing Services role blends direct client engagement team leadership and strategic collaboration with community partners.
Location: Remote in the Midwestern US
Salary: $60000-$70000
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Leadership
- Manage daily operations of Intake & Homelessness Prevention Programs
- Supervise Housing Navigation and Case Management Specialists including training coaching and performance reviews
- Collaborate on innovative programming to support families at risk of homelessness
- Ensure program compliance with documentation policies and data accuracy
- Conduct staff audits oversee file integrity and manage reporting metrics
Direct Client Support
- Provide intake assessments biopsychosocial evaluations and housing placement services
- Offer non-medical case managementlinking clients to community resources benefits and service providers
- Conduct home visits accompany clients to appointments and participate in community outreach and events
Community Partnerships & Outreach
- Build and maintain partnerships with landlords housing agencies and service providers
- Coordinate with Coordinated Entry Access Points and community stakeholders
- Represent the organization at external housing forums community events and strategic meetings
Qualifications and skills:
- 5 years of experience in housing human services or case management
- 1 year in a supervisory role managing staff or programs
- Bachelors Degree preferred (Social Work Public Health Psychology Nonprofit Administration or related fields)
- Strong knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care Harm Reduction and housing navigation
- Familiarity with federal state and local housing contracts program guidelines and service delivery models
- Strong leadership problem-solving and mentorship skills
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and client databases
- Culturally competent with experience serving African American Latino and LGBTQ populations
- Experience with HIV/STI testing and HIV care a plus
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
