About the Role
We are supporting a client in the Real Assets sector who is seeking a Senior Manager of Fund Accounting for a 6month contract assignment. This professional will join a growing team responsible for delivering a full suite of fund accounting and financial reporting services to Real Assets fund clients.
In this role you will manage a complex portfolio of fund structures and oversee key accounting deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership on the client side.
Key Responsibilities
During the 6month engagement responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing complex quarterly and semiannual management reports and statutory financial statements
Reviewing NAV and NAV-per-share calculations for assigned fund structures
Serving as the first-line reviewer for accounting deliverables such as:
Management accounts
Financial statements
NAV workings
Distribution calculations
Maintaining high-quality standards through consistent application of the foureye review principle
Managing the audit process for assigned portfolios including audit file preparation and communication with external auditors
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will bring:
A recognized accounting qualification (CPA ACCA ACA CIMA or equivalent)
Significant experience in fund accounting preferably within Real Assets or Private Equity
Prior people management or team leadership experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with both internal teams and client stakeholders
Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
