Subject to formal establishment Joint Boarding process and sS Policies a vacancy will arise for a Lt Col/OF4 to serve asSO1 Evaluation Plansat the Integrated Warfare Centre Northwood on ARRG/ADC/VTOD Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 01 Apr 26 (subject to establishment and candidate status)

Up to 90 RSDs are available for the right candidate to conduct the role.

Unit Function:

The role of the Integrated Warfare Centre is to optimise and adapt the current integrated force through concepts and warfare development to support UK and NATO joint commanders to achieve operational advantage over adversaries across the continuum of competition.

Position Role:SO1 Evaluation Plans will be responsible for overseeing implementation of evaluation of the capability of PJHQ Groups operational HQs as directed by CJO and defined by the Integrated Task List (ITL).

IWC evaluation of Tier 3 and 4 exercises is critical to assessing understanding and enhancing the collective performance of UK Joint Operational Headquarters operating alongside partners agencies and allies.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver IWC capability evaluation of Permanent Joint Headquarters Group (PJHQ Gp) including on TRA-endorsed Tier 3-4 exercises.
• Liaise with exercise designers to ensure Evaluation objectives are incorporated into exercise design.
• Maintain subordinate orders (CONOPS SOI etc) which direct IWC Evaluation activity.
• Conduct Staff Assisted Visits to support Joint Commanders certification decisions.
• Assist PJHQ J7 with maintaining an up-to-date Integrated Task (IT) List and conduct Evaluation of PJHQ Gps ability to achieve the required ITs.
• Conduct risk analysis and manage issues associated with PJHQ Gps Evaluation.
• Provide SME advice to enable DIWC to assure PJHQ Gps ability to meet contingent tasks.
