Tax & Advisory Associate

Were seeking someone to join our Transfer pricing team as an associate in Tax department to deliver high-quality output while managing a portfolio of deliverables and interpreting technical rules and regulations.

In the Finance division we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management review analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within the Tax & advisory job family.

What youll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area tools and/or products
- Adhere to the Firms risk and regulatory standards policies and controls
- Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firms values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
> Develop a deep understanding of the Firm its Transfer Pricing (TP) policies and their application to the business to support business needs and ensure ongoing changes are reflected appropriately in the TP documentation.
> Gain a strong technical understanding of US OECD and local country reporting requirements with ongoing monitoring of changes in local legislation.
> Prepare TP documentation in compliance with US OECD and local country reporting requirements.
> Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including external advisors external auditors and Morgan Stanleys global tax team.
> Collaborate with the Global Financial Controllers team to ensure the proper execution and documentation of TP models.
> Continuously build and refine own transfer pricing technical knowledge. D

What youll bring to the role:
- Working knowledge of Finance functional area industry and competitive environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and adapt to various audiences
- Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
> Qualified accountant CTA or equivalent qualification - or relevant experience.
> Background in an accounting or law firm bank or in-house tax department.
> Ability to interpret technical rules and regulations.
> Experience of working in a team to deliver high-quality output to an agreed schedule with confidence to question and challenge precedents and existing working practices.
> Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to work independently.
> Proven track record of managing a portfolio of deliverables and meeting tight deadlines.
> Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
> Desire to improve and create processes to increase efficiencies and completeness in the TP Compliance cycle.
> High level of personal commitment self-motivation and an innovative flexible and team player attitude.
> Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
> At least 2 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
