Job Name- GDS Consulting - Microsoft Business Applications Leader - GTM Delivery and Alliance Management
Position Summary
Microsoft Alliance is part of EYs broader strategy to work with leading technology providers to deliver innovative solutions that help clients navigate the complexities of the digital world. Through such alliances consulting is better equipped to support clients in achieving their strategic objectives and driving digital success. Microsoft Business Applications practice at GDS focuses on leveraging Microsofts suite of business applications to help clients optimize their operations and transform their businesses.

- A world class global delivery capability on Microsoft Business Applications with focus on FS & non FS segments in areas Americas
- EMEIA and APAC
- The ability for GDS to own and drive strategic initiatives by playing an active role in various Fields of play for both G-360 & Core Accounts For FY 25 and beyond Microsoft Business Application (Biz Apps) is seeing huge potential across domains like Finance Risk Supply Chain HR and across both Financial & Commercial Sectors. The long-term goal is to expand its footprint in not just having capability but having significant presence in Sector Solutions and Field of Play offerings of EY. Microsoft Biz Apps Leader is needed at GDS to provide vision drive growth maintain excellence in delivery and ensure that clients receive the best possible solutions to their business challenges using Microsoft technologies.
GDS Microsoft Biz Apps Leader will have responsibilities across following key focus areas
- Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute a comprehensive strategy for Microsoft Business Applications aligning with overall business goals and market opportunities.
- Lead and mentor teams responsible for delivery pre-sales and solution architecture within the Microsoft Business Applications domain.
- Drive organizational growth by leveraging Microsoft Business Apps as a core strategic pillar.
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Management
- Develop and manage the GTM strategy for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Platform and other Microsoft Business Apps focusing on key growth opportunities.
- Partner global and regional Microsoft Biz Apps champion to win large engagements from current deal $225 MN in FY 25 to $375 MN by FY 28 with YoY growth of 18%.
- Collaborate with other partner firms within EY and establish value propositions and solutions that resonate with target clients.
- Engage with clients to evangelize Microsoft Business Apps and address critical business needs.
- Engage with Microsoft alliance partners to drive growth
- Delivery Management
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects
- Expand the GTM and Delivery team with mix of Associate Directors Senior Manager Managers and below with target team size of 650 by FY 28
- Applications projects ensuring timely execution high quality and client satisfaction.
- Establish best practices for project delivery including process improvements risk management and quality assurance.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment with delivery goals and client requirements.
- Alliance & Partnership Management
- Act as the primary liaison between EY and Microsoft nurturing the alliance to maximize mutual benefits.
- Identify opportunities for co-selling joint initiatives and strategic investments with Microsoft.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Microsoft and other relevant partners to enhance partnership performance.
- Technology Expertise
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Microsoft Business Applications including Dynamics 365 (Sales Finance Supply Chain) Power Platform (Power Apps Power BI Power Automate) and Azure.
- Stay up to date with new features releases and advancements in the Microsoft ecosystem and communicate these insights effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

- Business development and client relationship management

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
- Professional with the ability to make most of the decisions pertaining to practice growth investment in new areas of technology and people issues
- Defining location strategy with respect to global locations building integrated operating model identifying right pricing and acquiring local talent
- Sharp focus on building competitive cost of delivery
- Defining winning themes and building differentiated solutions
Education & Experience
- Minimum of bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering Information Systems Management or a related field with 20 years of experience. Graduate from top colleges is a huge plus
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 and Power Platforms with technical delivery experience in Dynamics 365 CRM App PowerApps
- Power platform Front and Back-office integrations Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience of managing practice/accounts with HC above 200 would be a huge plus
- Demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the C level of Fortune 500 companies
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a matrixed organization and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering advisory services.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Technology expertise in Microsoft solutions focused on D365 and power platforms 20 years across roles spanning client delivery innovation solution architecting people and program management. At least last 10 years in technical leadership roles
- Demonstrates Dynamics and Power Platform technical expertise including associated Microsoft stack implementation technologies such as Azure SharePoint and Exchange/Outlook with a proven ability to sell and execute large scale consulting engagements with a distributed delivery mindset
- Strong reputation in the talent market and the ability to build a strong & continuous talent pipeline based on ones reputation and prior successes.
- Competitive intelligence about Big4 and Microsoft skills landscape
- Specialized industry-sector experience in at least one or two sectors relevant to EY like Consumer products & Retail Technology Media & Entertainment Telecom Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility Oil and Gas Government and infrastructure
