Reporting to the Chief Product Officer the Head of Product Design is a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of product technology data and strategy. Youll define and drive the design vision across our diverse product ecosystem from Residential to Commercial and our growing suite of SaaS offerings.

Youll lead and grow a talented team of Product Designers instilling a culture of collaboration experimentation and user-first thinking. With your leadership design will not just shape what we build but how we build it.

What youll be doing

• Bring the vision to life: Champion a clear strategic design vision that aligns with business goals and enhances user engagement retention and conversion.

• Design at Scale: Ensure a consistent accessible and high-performing experience across platforms backed by scalable design systems.

• Drive Outcomes: Measure and optimise the impact of design through user satisfaction adoption and business KPIs.

• Collaborate Deeply: Embed design thinking into every stage of product development alongside Product Engineering Marketing and Research.

• Grow the Team: Foster a high-performing inclusive design culture with clear career paths mentorship and continuous learning.

• A cohesive and consistent user experience across all products even under complexity or scale.

• Design embedded into cross-functional ways of working influencing product discovery and roadmaps.

• A strong empowered team of Designers and Managers doing the best work of their careers.

• Business results that reflect designs value: better engagement retention and satisfaction.

What we are looking for

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.

• 10 years in product design (UX/UI) including 5 years in a design leadership role.

• A strong portfolio that reflects user-centred data-informed design solutions across complex products.

• Experience in agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.

• Deep knowledge of design systems and scalable design practices.

• A passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

• Strong influencing skills: youre seen as a strategic partner not just a service function.
