This is a key role within the Americas BA team responsible for transforming data into actionable insights through dashboards and analytical models. As a Data Visualization Analyst you will develop and maintain Power BI solutions enforce governance standards partner with business users to resolve BI challenges provide guidance and support data-driven decision-making across multiple markets within our business area.
Responsibilities:
Development & Optimization
- Design develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI ensuring compliance with enterprise standards for governance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into data solutions ensuring consistent KPI definitions.
- Validate data sources and ensure semantic models comply with security rules.
- Apply best practices for DAX data modeling and performance optimization.
- Document processes and enforce adherence to governance practices.
Support & Enablement
- Act as the main point of contact for business users supporting reporting initiatives.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data sources refresh schedules and visualization.
- Provide training guidelines and documentation to improve data literacy and effective report usage.
- Foster active community engagement.
Innovation
- Stay up to date with the latest Power BI adopting new capabilities to enhance our analytics maturity.
Qualifications :
Required
- Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business Administration Data Science/Analytics or related field.
- 2 years in BI or analytics roles.
- Experience in virtual project management within remote teams.
- Experience integrating Power BI with SharePoint Teams or other collaboration tools.
- Proficiency in Power BI including DAX M Language for Power Query and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification.
- Basics in SQL Python and/or KNIME Workflow Development.
- Experience with data warehousing ETL processes and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
