Job Summary
Objective
Support the improvement and optimization of control systems on Line 1 by integrating new equipment and updating PLCs to enhance operational efficiency.
The Role
As a Control Systems Optimization Intern you will assist in modernizing and optimizing automation systems for Line 1 at CEDIS Celaya. Your work will focus on PLC programming integration of new equipment and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the optimization of control systems for Line 1.
- Program and configure PLCs according to project requirements.
- Assist in the integration of new equipment into existing systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Contribute to reducing downtime and improving process reliability.
- Document updates and standardize control system configurations.
Expected Outcomes
- Updated Control Systems: Replacement of outdated equipment (over 15 years in operation).
- Energy Cost Savings: Improved efficiency through modern automation.
- Process Optimization: Enhanced production flow and reduced downtime.
