We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Dublin. Owing to the nature of the projects the role will suit someone with experience of working on rail highways utilities or aviation projects.
Duties will include:
- Assisting the Project Manager on a range of tasks to include:
- Organisational/admin support
- Scheduling and attending meetings drafting and taking minutes etc
- Conducting background research data collection and benchmarking
- Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
- Producing project plans
- Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
- Tracking and documenting changes
- Preparing written project communication materials
- Preparing formal project progress and other reports
- Liaising with the client contractors and designers
- Reporting
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Degree or its equivalent in Construction Management or Related Field
- Qualification in Project Management Quantity Surveying Engineering Architecture or equivalent is desirable.
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- A minimum of 2 years project management experience preferably gained within the environment mentioned above.
- Some understanding of project life cycle
- Knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts tools and techniques.
- Design management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment. ideally residential office fit-outs and health & education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Right to work in Ireland
