With innovative technology and instruments our team does a vast array of inhouse testing and specialized coagulation testing. Located in Lakewood Colorado St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured 2023 we received our exciting Magnet designation! Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist Lead! This front-line leadership position is responsible for oversight of day to day operations of assigned shift or department. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Lead you will:

• Performs general testing within the analytical core laboratory including transfusion services.
• Provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance.
• Serves as a liaison with other laboratory departments and hospital services.
• May perform phlebotomy and clinical and/or pathology specimen management duties as required.
• This position serves as a department resource and assists in process improvement initiatives and department compliance with pertinent laboratory accreditation and regulatory requirements such as CLIA CAP TJC and OSHA. Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

• 2 year relevant laboratory work experience
• Bachelors in Clinical laboratory chemical or biological science required
• MLS with ASCP certification or MT with ASCP AMT or equivalent certification or specialty ASCP certification required
