Overview
New Hampshire Hospital a state acute psychiatric hospital that provides inpatient care for citizens with mental illness is recruiting for a Behavioral Analyst to develop behavior support plans to promote safety and adaptive functioning skills. This role would also include being helping coordinate a Social Learning Program for patients with mental illness.
Responsibilities
- As a member of an interdisciplinary team provide support to patients with mental illnesses including both individualized plans and whole unit interventions utilizing behavioral and social learning interventions including token economies.
- Conduct and write Functional Analyses and reinforcer assessments including developing data collection tools and training staff on objective data collection
- Work closely with treatment teams to identify target behaviors create patient centered Behavior support plans utilizing token economies ensure proper implementation of Behavior Support Plan and monitor plans for progress.
- Train staff on behavioral and social learning principles and interventions
- Lead progress monitoring meetings
- Attend and participate in department and unit team meetings as needed or scheduled
- Accurate and timely documentation in patient electronic medical records
- Remain current on research related to behavioral intervention and best practices
- Report to the Chief of Psychology
Qualifications
- Masters degree from an accredited institute of higher education with major study in behavior analysis psychology or a related field.
- Two years of experience in behavior analysis psychology or a related field; preferrably in a management level position involving administrative or supervisory duties concerned with program administration program planning and evaluation business management or related management experience.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
- Complete CPI Certification within 3 months of hire
