Job Summary

Joining our expanding Private Rented Housing Team you will lead a team of 2 Supported Lettings Officers and 2 Floating Support Officers to improve the efficiency and overall success of the Private Rented team. Working across a considerable variety of housingyouwill manage a Team to procure affordable and suitable accommodation for single and childless people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness .

Its all about creating a steady supply of accommodation for households in housing need then following up with effective contract monitoring. You will work closely with private landlords to secure safe and suitable accommodation for our residents. On top of your core duties youll implement impactful operational plans that fit with St Mungos wider housing strategy .

This is a hybrid role where you will be working 4 days per week on-site at our officein Kensington Town Hall.

About you

Were looking for solid experience in housing or property. This includes experience in procurement contract management and working with landlords or letting agents. Youll be able to confidently handle a demanding workload and communicate effectively with all kinds of people. A good knowledge of relevant legislation regulations and the private rented sector is important.

Ideally youll be qualified to carry out property inspections under the Housing Health and Safety Rating system but this isnt essential.
