Order to Cash Senior Analyst

Dyson Business Services (DBS) organisation provides process and service excellence to support Dysons growth ambitions with a goal of innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business.

This role reports to the OTC Associate Manager and focuses on collections and deductions within the DBS OTC operations team. You will contribute to managing DSO cash flow forecasting cash collection credit note and bad debt provision dispute resolution and supporting the DBS vision of building a Centre of Excellence (COE).

About the Role

OTC Snr Analyst will be responsible for:

• Act as an SME of the process and should be a problem solver for the team
• Lead/Present cash forecast & provisioning calls to senior leadership for the markets/regions
• Establish and communicate a clear vision of the portfolio assigned and work with the OTC Operations Supervisor/Manager & Senior stake holders.
• Ensure collaboration with other stockholders across markets
• Responsible for updating DTP/SOP
• Responsible for debtor aging ensuring timely collection of payments either through direct contact with customers or by directing to local Sales/Account Manager staff.
• Maintaining an accurate aging report and distribute to Sales Team/Local Market for assistance in collection/deduction management process
• Preparing analysis of customer accounts and send account statements to the customer
• AR ledger reconciliation to ensure all payments and credit notes are applied
• Identifying held orders and taking actions to resolve
• Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
• Classification of customer deductions and working with various stakeholders to resolve (triggering dispute case in SAP)
• Holding regular calls with various stakeholders to keep them updated
• Identifying and executing the necessary process adjustments
• Help Team in identifying improvement opportunities and recommend process update to remove manual intervention
• Must have good accounting/accrual P&L knowledge

Experience

• or MBA in Accounting required
• 69 years proven experience in a similar role
• Clear and concise communicator comfortable with senior leadership and stakeholders
• Experience working in multicultural environments
• Strong knowledge of accounting reporting and analysis
• Skilled in analyzing financial/operating data and providing feedback
• Self-motivated proactive and deadline-driven with a can-do attitude
• Track record of driving finance process improvements
• Ability to motivate teams in fast-paced high-volume settings
• Experience with SAP S4 and Blackline preferred
• Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus
