Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of sanitary engineering pertaining to drinking water; state and federal laws rules and regulations governing drinking water; management practices and principles and administrative and supervisory principles
Ability to make sound engineering decisions; monitor and assess progress and interpret and apply federal and state laws and regulations; create technical reports
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff officials engineers and other public health groups
Additional Considerations
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) in Virginia preferred
