Job Summary
- Minimum 10 years experience in relevant position and field experience is an advantage.
- A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Material Science or its equivalent.
- Should be responsible for managing and establishing NDT Procedures methods techniques and calibration processes and systems particularly in relation to material & weld integrity.
- Ensuring that the job is completed in accordance with the client & class requirements.
- Develop and approve NDT procedures plan written practices and NDT techniques.
- Interpret codes standards specifications and Customer requirements related to NDT inspection to meet project compliance.
- Manage the NonDestructive Testing (NDT) program in the yard to ensure that NDT Supervisors/Technician evaluate the quality of material components and systems correctly.
- Ensuring timely review and errorless reports submission.
- Train and mentor Level II Supervisors / Technicians in current methods and new technology.
- Perform site assessments and NDT audits. 8. Monitor and report the repair rate for each project
- Adhere to all health & safety protocols participate in wellbeing & wellness programs and promptly report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of oneself & others in order to foster a culture of best practice.
Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance works for static and rotary equipment s. Minimum qualification: ITI certification in Mechanical or a related field. Strong technical and supervisory skills. Ability to work in compliance with projects, systems, requirements, and timelines. Prior GCC/ O&M experience will be an advantage. Ability to manage a team of 15 persons, assigning tasks, monitoring, and controlling site activities, and uploading reports as guided by the engineer.
